Meet Rx and Just Kevin

Meet Rx and Just Kevin! They met on day three of their NOBO hike when Rx needed some help with an injury. They have been hiking together ever since and share some hilarious stories about their journey together so far!

Rx got on the trail after losing her husband. She has a special ritual she does every night to honor him- such a beautiful human. She spoke to how much the trail has helped her heal and how it has a way of helping you work through things.

Just Kevin comes from the AMC Western Mass Chapter and learned about the AT from other thru hikers! He is retired and decided now was a good time to get on the trail. So far he’s lost 60 lbs on the trail and has found an entirely new way of staying healthy and living his best life!

Rx and Just Kevin had such a great energy about them! Wonderful, smiley, grateful people to run into on the AT!
